I enjoy listening to people, sharing their stories and connecting with them through the whole gamut of emotions. My many years of being with people in their most difficult times, my extensive training and my own experiences with grief have provided well-honed skills in understanding non-verbal communication and meanings behind behaviors. I use an eclectic approach, tailored to the client, but often use behavioral approaches with children and adolescents, as well as play therapy for the very young. I enjoy the process of watching people grow emotionally and gain insight into their behaviors and problems. The connectedness, that is an integral part of therapy, is something that I find very satisfying.
